Burn The Fat Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Am I too young to use the Burn The Fat Program?

Q: Am I too young for this program? I'm only 15

A: I recommend anyone of any age learn more about nutrition, improve their food choices and start to exercise. There are far too many teenagers today who are stuck in front of a computer or TV who don't get enough exercise, living off of fast food, frozen food, packaged food, candy and other junk food.

You may get away with it for a while, but habits formed early can last for life and are very hard to break later. It will catch up with you eventually. If you don't believe me, look at all the 40 and 50 year olds you know and see what kind of shape most of them are in. Is that how you want to look 30 years from now? I'm in the best shape of my life right now in my late 30's because I started a fitness lifestyle including nutrition, cardio training and weight training when I was 14 years old.

It's never too early and never too late to start a healthy lifestyle. However, when you are only 15 or so, I don't recommend extremely restrictive diets, including very low carb or competition diets like those used by bodybuilders and fitness competitors. Instead, I recommend that you focus on increasing your cardiovsacular exercise to burn off the fat (including sports and recreational activities like biking), strength training to build muscle, and simply "cleaning up your diet." "

By "cleaning up" your diet, I mean working on the basics and establishing good nutrition habits that you will keep for the rest of your life. For example; cut back on processed and refined foods, fried foods, white sugar, white flour, soft drinks, candy, fast food and so on. Trade all that junk for natural lean proteins like egg whites, fish and chicken, and natural carbs like fruits, vegetables and unrefined whole grains. More detailed instructions are found in the BURN THE FAT ebook.

The e-book includes the all these fundamentals in something I call the "baseline diet" and that's where you start - just with the basics. The e-book also contains a more strict "competition diet" based on the techniques used by bodybuilders and fitness competitors prior to contests. Although this can cause more rapid and greater fat loss to let you really get that "six pack abs" look, it is a very strict program, and at age 15, that type of dieting stress is just not necessary.

Lastly, of course, if you have any medical problems, health conditions or nutritional restrictions, don't change anything in your diet without checking with your doctor or a registered dietician first, and definitely let your parents know what you planning to do, especially if you are eating the majority of your meals at home.

Full Article: Different Types of Bonds Investing in bonds is very safe, and the returns are usually very good. There are four basic types of bonds available and they are sold through the Government, through corporations, state and local governments, and foreign governments. The greatest thing about bonds is that you will get your initial investment back. This makes bonds the perfect investment vehicle for those who are new to investing, or for those who have a low risk tolerance. The United States Government sells Treasury Bonds through the Treasury Department. You can purchase Treasury Bonds with maturity dates ranging from three months to thirty years. Treasury bonds include Treasury Notes (T-Notes), Treasury Bills (T-Bills), and Treasury Bonds. All Treasury bonds are backed by the United States Government, and tax is only charged on the interest that the bonds earn. Corporate bonds are sold through public securities markets. A corporate bond is essentially a company selling its debt. Corporate bonds usually have high interest rates, but they are a bit risky. If the company goes belly-up, the bond is worthless. State and local Governments also sell bonds. Unlike bonds issued by the federal government, these bonds usually have higher interest rates. This is because State and Local Governments can indeed go bankrupt ?unlike the federal government. State and Local Government bonds are free from income taxes ?even on the interest. State and local taxes may also be waived. Tax-free Municipal Bonds are common State and Local Government Bonds. Purchasing foreign bonds is actually very difficult, and is often done as part of a mutual fund. It is often very risky to invest in foreign countries. The safest type of bond to buy is one that is issued by the US Government. The interest may be a bit lower, but again, there is little or no risk involved. For best results, when a bond reaches maturity, reinvest it into another bond. [Insert Your Resource Box Here] (Words: 314)
